Abstract

This poster presents a survey that was conducted in Melbourne (Australia), along with our analysis of the results. The aim of the survey is to find out, from expert practitioner’s opinions, what kind of web development fits the domain of agile and heavyweight methodologies. The survey’s results concede that agile methodologies can provide palpable benefits for both low and medium-level web development. In case of high-level web development, more embellishments are needed in shape of process and ceremony to effectively cordon off complexity.
