Best Paper and Best Poster Awards

It is an AusWeb tradition to acknowledge the best paper at each conference with the Paul Thistlewaite Award. This award consists of a certificate plus a complimentary registration at the following years conference. The latter is made possible by our long time sponsor Explain XML Specialists (http://www.explain.com.au/) and is presented by their CEO Steve Ball. We also offer a Best Poster Award which consists of a certificate and complimentary registration for a tutorial or workshop at the following years conference.

This year the Paul Thistlewaite award was won by Sims and Stork - "Design for Contextual Learning: Web-based Environments that Engage Diverse Learners"

This years poster award was won by Ieva Bergman - "Engaging the student - the Curtin University Library experience"
