Canada's Rik Hall, California's Bob Futernick and Tasmania's Anthony Rowley kicked off their all-day workshops at 9.00am in the first post-conference sessions. Hall is the Manager, Instructional Technology Unit, University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada; Futernick chairs the Conservation Departments at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco; and Rowley is based in Launceston where he focuses on the development of Tasmania Business Online for the Tasmanian Electronic Commerce Centre, an initiative of the University of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Government.
The workshops offered delegates rare opportunities to meet with the expert visitors and discuss their own experiences and concerns about the application of web technologies to diverse workplaces, including the fields of education, e-commerce, libraries and museums, government administration and the law
