Abstract

Intranets - your own personal Internet. Everyone in the IT world is talking about them and (just about) everyone suspects that they should get one. However, while the momentum of the Intranet wave is in itself compelling, organisations cannot operate effectively by following fads.

Is this paper I will investigate Intranets, discuss why they should be of interest to organisations, and take a look at the hard (and soft) benefits that they can deliver.
