range of experience in management issues, computing and public policy. Alan
Tidwell is a senior lecturer in Management at Macquarie Graduate School

Internet trainer for the Australian Computer Society (NSW branch). They
have presented strategic planning workshops and seminars for both government
and business organisations in Sydney.
The poster will address issues on establishing a cyber-presence. Research
has indicated that 84 of the top global 100 companies have a presence on
the WWW (CyberManagement, 1996) but business executives are reluctant to
commit to electronic business until the market has stabilised. This poster
takes the position that the technology is already in place and outlines
a course on Strategic Internet Planning for business executives.
