Introduction
This poster describes a course for Strategic Internet Planning for Business Executives.
Background
Eighty four of the top global 100 companies have created a presence on the World Wide Web
(CyberManagement, 1996) but many business executives are reluctant to commit to electronic
business until the market has stabilised. This web page outlines a strategic Internet Planning
course which has been designed for Australian business executives. It takes the view that the
technology is already in place and ready for immediate use (Cronin, 1996).
The course
Conclusion
Companies should act decisively and explore ways to revitalise their business by taking
advantage of the opportunities of the World Wide Web now. Companies will find establishing
a presence on the world wide web an excellent way to promote their corporate image and do
business.
