There are two conference packages, one with and one without, accommodation.

Conference package (1)

Conference package (1) includes

two nights accommodation at the Five Star conference venue, Conrad Jupiters on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th July.

Special Interest Group Meetings
Walk on the Beach with a Keynote Speaker
morning and afternoon teas and lunches

Conrads make no charge for an accompanying person staying in the same room. Limited availability until 22 June only - REGISTER EARLY. The cost of conference package (1) is $1,050.

Conference package (2)

Conference package (2) includes:

Admission to Conference Exhibition
Conference dinner on Sunday 7 July evening
copy of Conference Proceedings
Special Interest Group Meetings
Walk on the Beach with a Keynote Speaker
morning and afternoon teas and lunches

The cost of conference package (2) is $800.

A wide range of accommodation from three stars is available on the Gold Coast. Details from the Queensland Reservations Centre on 1 800 074 300 to book your accommodation.

Day Rate

We have had a number of enquiries for a day rate for the Monday and Tuesday of AusWeb96. We had not intended to offer a day rate, but there has been so much interest we've introduced a rate of $350 per day, which includes conference bag, proceedings, morning and afternoon teas and lunch. If you're interested, please contact the AusWeb96 team at ausweb96@scu.edu.au.

Student Rate

There is a A$150 non-residential rate for full-time students for AusWeb96. This includes all conference sessions, a conference bag and morning/afternoon tea and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. The rate has been very attractively priced for students and is highly-subsidised by the AusWeb96 team. Full time students will need to provide evidence of their status .. by an email from a lecturer, enrolment slip or by some other evidence. Please email the AusWeb96 team at ausweb96@scu.edu.au.

The cost of workshops are:

Please now register at Conrad Jupiters from Sunday onwards. If in doubt, please email or call the AusWeb96 team.

Cancellation Policy

Registered delegates notifying their cancellation before the 31st May will receive a full refund on all fees paid less an administration fee of $85. No refunds will be given after that date, but substitutions will be accepted. Where a delegate registers for AusWeb96 and then fails to attend, no refund shall be available and any/all unpaid fees must be paid to AusWeb96.

Any ammendments or cancellations to hotel bookings are to be made with Norsearch Conference Services. If a booking is not cancelled prior to the scheduled arrival date, one full days tariff will be charged by the hotel for non arrival on that day.
