Curtis says:
I am a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at James Cook University
and research, primarily, temporal databases. I wrote software to help teachers
put the assessment-related portions of their subjects onto the WWW and used
that software in two subjects. I will briefly describe the security and
privacy measures incorporated in the software and will present empirical
data on how students actually used the WWW in the two subjects. I enjoy
thinking about the WWW, and have published two other WWW-related papers
(for WWWW4'95 in Boston and ACSE'96 in Sydney).
