1. Provide an overview of how teachers at QUT are using the web
2. Discuss the TRAC group webworkers as a model of staff development
Open the channels of communication between webworkers throughout Australia.
Webworkers aims to:
- Explore best practice and introduce these to people;
- Develop collegiality between people
- Explore issues of common interest
- Introduce participants to peer review
- Encourage critical reflection amongst participants;
- Encourage personal and professional development

- Examine and discuss the effectiveness of various courses on the web
- Provide a central resource area - centrally locate pointers to web-based teaching at QUT from a webworkers homepage
