Reducing wastage

The screen size is limited. Most displays will only show a 640 by 480 image, unless you have expensive equipment. Consequently, you need to minimise the amount of wasted space

• Turn off the toolbar - you won't be using the functions there, and if you do need them they are accessible from the menu anyway.
• Turn off the location indicator - you know where you are.
• Turn off any other irrelevant displays, such as Netscape's directory buttons.
