Defining the Value Proposition of Your Intranet - Sequent Computer Systems

The second presentation by Lori O'Callaghan lorio@sequent.com from Sequent's head office in Oregon.

The details on Lori's presentation are:
Last year the pressure was on for an external web site, this year the pressure is on an internal web site ... your Intranet. As we have found with external web sites, successful sites require more than just the technology implementation. In this session, we will cover the business drivers for a successful intranet application, review the steps to creating a successful intranet and review a case study of Sequent's successful Intranet implementation.

Sequent has been awarded a best practices nomination by the American Productivity and Quality Center for our use of Intranet technology in the emerging management discipline of Knowledge Management.

Lori J. O'Callaghan is a 15 year veteran of the high technology industry. She is currently the Market Development Manager for the Internet Technology Group at Sequent Computer Systems, Inc. She has held a variety of positions in business development, marketing, and finance. Lori is a graduate of General Electric's executive management training programs, holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
