Conclusion and future work

LifeWeb:

• An object-oriented model for the Web document system

• Facilitates the creation, management and maintenance of web documents by separating the three distinct aspects of document: structure, presentation and content

• Augmenting web objects with processing capabilities

• The prototype is simple but promising

Future work:

• Develop further on customisation, adaptabilities and evolvabilities

• Incorporating emerging technologies such as XLink, and so on
