The Terrain ..2There are many clusters of interest, beside graphic designers, however, who have influence on the way the Internet/World Wide Web design environment is growing. W3Consortium represents one of these clusters, a second represents the browser manufacturers, a third software manufacturers. There are also the Telcos and ISP's and last, but not least, the users. A networked online world of some shape is probably inevitable. But will it be soon?
Only a fraction of the world's populations are connected to the internet. Some lack the access, some language, some electricity. And then there is the thorny issue of bandwidth.
