Our conference desk is staffed by Norsearch Conference Services from Southern Cross University.

Please check the noticeboard near the registration desk regularly for messages.
The conference commences with a plenary session at 2pm on Sunday 18 April at Ballina Beach Resort. Lunch is available beforehand as an optional function. If you haven't booked and wish to attend, please do so now by emailing Lisa on lmesseng@scu.edu.au
There will be a shuttle bus service running from the designated conference motels to the resort venue in the mornings and in the afternoon. Timetables will be available at your motels and also at the registration desk.
Enclosed is a map of the whereabouts of the chosen motels. To check where you are staying please look at your itinerary again which was faxed to you half way through March.

All meals are included in your conference registration from Sunday 2pm to Tuesday conference close.
On Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 April breakfast will be provided for delegates at the Ballina Beach Resort commencing at 7.30am through until 9.00am. Should you be staying additional nights, breakfast may be ordered at your respective motel. The conference will only cover breakfasts for delegates.
The Conference Dinner and AusWeb Award Night begins with pre-dinner drinks at 7pm, Sunday 18 April at Ballina Beach Resort. A three course meal will be provided accompanied by fine wines. If you have registered an accompanying person you should receive a dinner ticket on registration.
On Saturday night 17 April there will be a welcome reception sponsored by Allaire Corporation.

ColdFusion 4.0 allows you to create Web applications for online stores, self-service human resource solutions, interactive publishing and much more. On Monday night 19 April there will be an informal BBQ in the grounds of the Ballina Beach Resort. This is included in your conference fee.
If you are registered for full day workshops on Saturday, morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch are included. All Saturday workshops will be held at the Ballina Beach Resort with the exception of XML which will be held at the Ballina Southern Cross School (shuttle buses will depart from motels on Saturday morning to the school via Ballina Beach Resort). Sunday workshops will all be at the Ballina Beach Resort. Those attending Saturday tutorials need to register for these prior to the conference on either Friday night 16 April 6-8pm or Saturday 17 April from 8.00am (tutorials commence at 9.00am). The shuttle bus will be available to transfer you from BBR to Southern Cross School at 8.45am after your registration process.
If you have brought your laptop and would like to access the network for any reason (including email), you need to receive an IP address from our technicians.
Southern Cross University technicians, Tim and John will be located at the resort and they can help you with all your technical requirements.
If you are presenting a paper or poster, our technicians would like to see you an hour prior to your presentation.
All the motels are located within ten minutes of Ballina airport and we suggest catching a taxi or a local bus service to your motel. A shuttle bus will be provided at the close of the conference to meet the next departing flight out of Ballina. It will go directly from the Ballina Beach Resort to the airport so if you intend on catching it, please have all your belongings with you that day.
